Silly Putty
Hey everyone,
My name is Matt Hawkins and I'm a Theatrical Lighting Designer, I've been working both academically and Professionally in Denver and along the Colorado front range for 10 years now. I've recently decided to come back to school and finish my degree and thus lead to the creation of this blog.
This blog is designed (at least for the next few months) to be my journal for a course I am taking at the University of Colorado at Denver. The class is "Camera and Multimedia Production" There will be my general attempts at academic papers, creative thoughts relating to those academic papers and links to information relating to those academics. Whoo! Academics. Yay.
This blog also dumps out onto my tumbleblog found here: http://beyondsacred.tumblr.com/
From there anyone reading this will also be able to get my quick updates via Twitter (http://twitter.com/cydboone), as well as access to my Flickr Photostream (http://www.flickr.com/photos/beyondsacred/). There will also be a tubedump from YouTube for video. All posts to the tumbleblog will in some way be associated with this course.
My intention is to use twitter to post general thoughts relating to the class, things which I (obviously) intend for review, but are thoughts from my own broken braincasing. The Flickr Photostream will be a photojournal of the activities of the course and and a visual journal of group activities and self-indulgent posturing. Youtube will house the final digital copies of all film/video work done in the class. (Youtube is being a pain in the arse right now at 5am so I'll set that up this weekend.)
Finally this blog in particular will house my academic reviews, analysis and class journals.
